Word Art Wednesday

I'm doing another yearly art challenge beside Documented Life Project.

    World Art Wednesday is for all Arts and Craft Artists.  

It's not limited to art journaling. And most of all, the challenge themes are from the Bible.  

It's a Christian Art Challenge. 
If you want to do a challenge with Bible verses, this site would be a really great one.

First challenge of this year is from Book of Psalms 143:8. 
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust:  cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. - King James Version
As much as I do appreciate King James Version, I feel more comfortable reading and understanding the NLT version.  Same meaning, just different vocabularies and wordings :)

Girls and the Blue Birds

Nowadays I am enjoying a series of these girls with blue birds.  

I was mesmerized by Maurice Maeterlinck's book 'Blue Bird' when I was little.  

Not  knowing the deep meaning of the blue bird.  

I really believed there was a blue bird and how pretty it must be.  

(I think I was somewhat frustrated I wasn't seeing any blue bird..haa haa)

Birds and more Birds :)

I hand fed baby birds many years ago.  

They need special cares just like new born human babies.  

They need to be milked often and tucked in warm temperatures with special lights in safe box.  

Too bad it wasn't smart phone time to easily take pictures.  

Other wise, I would have taken many pictures of baby birds and how they grow to be too cute furry friends with beautiful wings.  

Yes, as you see more birdie paintings :) 

Fly to your Dream

I personally believe the one with dreams are the happy ones.  

Do you have a dream?  Let's fly tours the dream.  

Walking in the Flower Path

Even as a mother of two, I still sense my inner child time to time.  

 I  get excited to find children's book that brings back memories of my childhood.   

Back then, computer drawn children's books weren't common.   

Perhaps that might be why I am more drawn to hand-painted pictures even nowadays. 

Two Birds and a Flower

Something about 'Bird and Flower' theme that I keep coming back to paint again and again. 

Seeing the bloom flowers everywhere make me to grab my paint brushes  even more !!
